✧ Bio
I’m a New York and Philadelphia–based artist, communications designer, and community organizer, born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. My work moves between cities, but stays anchored in the people and places that formed me, carrying language, memory, and care through everything I create.
I came into communications through organizing, not through a traditional path. Through building with my community, I learned how to translate need into language, how to take something complex, urgent, or lived, and shape it into something people can understand, move with, and trust. That still guides me. I think of communication as a practice of listening first, then shaping what’s heard into something clear, intentional, and accessible.
I serve as a coordinator with Guilded, where I support artists navigating freelance systems, contracts, payments, and access to care. My work there is about creating pathways, designing communication that softens confusion, that makes space for people to move through systems without feeling lost inside of them.
Alongside that, I organize with the Black Visioning Group, where communication is inseparable from trust. It lives in how we tell stories, how we document what’s happening, and how we invite people into work that is both urgent and collective. Through campaigns, outreach, and storytelling, I help shape how these efforts are seen, felt, and supported.
My foundation as a visual artist continues to inform everything I do. Through my work with Mural Arts Philadelphia, I’ve spent years learning how to listen in public, how to translate community voice into something visible, something held in space. That same approach moves into my communications work: beginning with presence, moving toward clarity.
At its core, my work is about making space, for stories, for understanding, for connection. It’s about helping language move in ways that are clear, accessible, and rooted in care.
